The following weekend I flew back to Utah for a Lia Sophia Conference alone! I stayed with my cousin Kara and had a great time taking advantage of some "me" time. Kara & I got pedicures and she took me shopping at a great place called Rod Works. Check out their website http://www.rodworks.com/
This last weekend we went camping up by Big Lake in the White Mountains. The weather was gorgeous. It rained every day. Here is a picture of Janey and her cousin Kinley. Then a picture of Kinley and Grandma Robyn. Kinley was giving me the "crazy eye" when I took this picture. I think it is so funny. Click on the picture to enlarge it...then you'll see what I mean.
Here is a picture of Russell. He went fishing and caught a crawdad. No fish...bummer. All of the kids had a great time playing with cousins they only see once a year. Every year when we get home Russell wants to know how many days until we get to go back. Then the disbelief on his face when I say "about 360 days". That feels like forever when your 7.

so it's about stinkin' time you started this blog, it's funny that you did because the last few days I've been thinking about you & wondering when you would start one.
Hi Trish, Nicky forwarded an email and had me look at Kinley in it.That eye thing is a little freaky. I can't believe how big your kids are. Your family is beautiful! I linked you to my blog so I can read up on how you guys are doing, hope that's ok. Have a great night! Alison
Hey I feel like I haven't seen you forever and I love you! I'm so glad you have a blog and I'm so glad that this blog thing exists-I wish everyone in the Adobe ward would get one so I won't feel so sad when we leave the ward for good:(
"Crazy Summer".... FOR SURE! What an awesome opportunity it was for me to be able to be on 2 of those trips with you! Remember when we were camping and so dog tired with our 6 kids, no husbands, many, many miles traveled, screaming babies, verging on tears ourselves...we'd remind each other "We're here makin' memories... right?!" It will always be a good memory for me! I love you. PS Havasupai ROCKS! :o)
